About This Project
GDP were awarded the D&C contract to upgrade ground floor entry, extend a second level tenancy, transform and create 1288m2 of lettable ground floor tenancy space. An important part of the it was to ensure that all aspects of the design and construction of the works were compliant with the requirements & recommendations of manufacturers and suppliers of goods and materials used, all Authorities and all applicable legislative requirements and recommendations of the Standards Association of Australia and building codes. Many of the tenants within the building are Government agencies who have strict rules regarding noise and access. Another is Yarra trams, who have a control room which operates 24/7. Security around full continuity and amenity to all the buildings tenants was paramount.
